Our Staff
The team at Llanover Day Nursery in Abergavenny are experienced and fully-qualified nursery nurses, with NVQ Levels 3 to 5. We ensure that all staff hold current DBS checks. All staff also hold current First Aid qualifications. We are committed to staff monitoring and training, to continually improve the quality of care we provide.
Rachel Withey-

Hi, my name is Rachel Withey. I opened Llanover Day Nursery in 2009 after the birth of my first daughter, as I recognised the need for high quality childcare in Abergavenny / Pontypool. My aim was to open the best nursery in Abergavenny and the surrounding area!
Prior to this, I was a Primary School teacher in Newport for 7 years, including 5 years as part of the Senior Management team.
As proprietor of Llanover Day Nursery, I oversee finances, building maintenance and ensure a safe and secure environment for the children.
